AMOLED demand growing

It seems like AMOLED panels are growing in demand. Samsung SDI has reported "solid demand" for AMOLEDs, and LG Display are increasing their OLED production capacity, apparently they are trying to become an OLED supplier to Nokia.

DisplaySearch, meanwhile, reports that OLED TV sales will reach 2.4B$ in 2016, and total OLED revenue will reach 7B$. In Q1 2009, AMOLED revenue (totaling 143M$) have surpassed PMOLED revenue, for the first time.



Interviews...

We have published a couple of interesting interviews lately. The first was with CDT's CEO and Chairmen, David Fyfe. CDT is the leader in Polymer-OLEDs. The second interview is with OLED100.eu project's manager. OLED100.eu is a European project working on OLED lighting.
