Seeya starts producing OLED microdisplays
The world's leading consumer electronic companies are accelerating their efforts to develop consumer AR devices - which could evolve into an immense market. While analysts estimate that consumer AR will only emerge at around 2024-205, display makers are gearing up to offer solutions, mostly based on either OLED or MicroLED technologies.
In 2017, OLED microdisplay developer Seeya Information Technology started building a $300 million OLED microdisplay production line. Seeya's fab is now in operation, with a yearly capacity of around 20 million displays (9,000 12" wafers).
Seeya produces several OLED microdisplays, including a 0.49" FHD, 1.03" 2560x2560 and a large 1.4" 2560x2560 display. We now offer all of Seeya's OLED microdisplays at the OLED marketplace. Check out more information over at the OLED Marketplace, or simply reply to this mail to contact us.
