New OLED gadget: LG OLED Flex LX3
LG's OLED Flex LX3 is a bendable OLED monitor/TV that features a flexible 42" 4K 120Hz WOLED panel that can change from a flat shape to a 900R curved one (with twenty levels of possible curvature settings).

Other features include DOlby Atmos, two 40W speakers, HDMI 2.1, VRR, ALLM and G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync support.
LG did not yet reveal the price or shipping information.
UBI: 724.8 million small-area OLED displays will ship in 2022
UBI Research estimates that in 2022, a total of 724.8 million small-area OLED panels will ship. By 2027, the market will grow to 937.8 million units.
In Q2 2022, UBI says small-area OLED revenue were $7.87 billion, a 16% decrease from the first quarter, and a 9.7% increase compared to last year. In terms of shipments, 130 million units were shipped in Q2, down from 150 million. UBI expects that rigid OLED market revenues will continue to shrink as OLED makers in China are reducing the price of their OLED panels.
New OLED gadget: Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold 16.3 2022
The 2022 edition of Lenovo's foldable laptop, the ThinkPad X1 Fold, offers a 16.3" 2024x2560 touch-enable foldable OLED display (12-inch when folded), an Intel Core i7 chipset, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen-4 SSD storage.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold will ship in November 2022, starting at $2,499.

New OLED gadget: Philips OLED+907 / OLED+937
Philips' 2022 OLED TV range include two TVs, the OLED+907 and OLED+937. The TVs are available in sizes ranging from 48-inch to 77-inch, with the 55", 65" and 77" panels based on LGD's 1300 nits OLED.EX panels.

Philips' 907 and 307 OLED TVs offer 120Hz, VRR, G-Sync, FreeSync, Android OS, ambient lighting and built-in Bowers & Wilkins sound system. The TVs offer a new feature called Ambient Aurora, which provides a sound and lighting experience when the TV is not in use.
The Philips OLED+907 and OLED+937 will launch by the end of 2022, starting at €1,999 for the 48-inch OLED+907, and up to €4,999 for the 77-inch OLED+937.
New OLED gadget: Garmin Venu sq 2
Garmin's Venu sq 2 is a smartwatch that offers a rectangular 1.41" 360x320 AMOLED display, a heart rate sensor and more.

The Venu sq2 will ship soon starting at $249.99.
New OLED gadget: Lenovo Glasses T1
Lenovo's Glasses T1 are AR glasses that can connect (tether) to all Windows, MacOS, Android or iOS devices. The T1 are based on dual 1920x1080 OLED microdisplays. As they do not contain any processor or battery, they are light and small.

Lenovo is demonstrating early T1 prototypes, and have not yet announced a release date or price for the AR glasses.
UBI: sales of medium and large OLED displays will reach 26.3 million units in 2022
UBI Research estimates that sale revenues of medium and large OLED displays (UBI defines these from 10-inch and up) rose 22.9% in Q2 2022 compared to the previous quarter and 11.2% compared to last year - to reach $1.67 billion.
In term of sales, UBI estimates that total shipments in 2022 will reach 26.3 million units. Most of the growth in 2022 will come from laptop displays - where shipments almost doubled in the second quarter to 2.18 million units.
New OLED gadget: Sony Xperia 5 IV
Sony's Xperia 5 IV smartphone offers a 6.1" 120Hz 1080x2520 AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a microSDXC memory slot and a high-end triple camera setup.

The Xperia 5 IV will ship by the end of September 2022, starting at $999.
LG Display: OLED will be the main display technology for future AR and VR devices
Yang Joon-Young, a VP at LG Display, says that recent improvement in OLED technologies will cause an industry shift from LCoS devices to OLED microdisplays in AR systems. LCoS will find a market in low-cost AR headsets, but most AR solutions will be based on OLEDs.
Next-generation VR systems, which will require higher pixel densities, will also switch from LCD and mobile AMOLED displays to OLED microdisplays that will offer pixel densities of over 3000 PPI.
Samsung to use a single-stack structure in its first 8-Gen OLED production line
Last Month Samsung Display confirmed that Samsung is now building a 8-Gen (2200x2500 mm) OLED production line, that will begin production in 2024.
It is expected that the new line will mostly produce panels for IT devices (laptops and tablest) and also for automotive applications. Many believe that these applications will adopt tandem stack structure to increase brightness and lifetime. According to a new report, Samsung's new line will adopt a single-stack structure, and not a dual-stack one.
New OLED gadget: Nokia X30
Nokia's X30 Android smartphone offers a 6.43" 90Hz 1080x2400 AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of storage and a dual camera setup.

The X30 will ship by the end of September 2022 starting at around $520.
